My timeline is a little skewed, so I honestly cannot remember which of these was first, however I do know they were in the same timeframe:

I got to go see "Spaceballs" on my own as well as "Overboard" (yes I liked romantic comedy;s even when I was a kid)

Course around the same time frame I saw these I also went to a drive in with my folks (cant remember what the first movie of the evening was.. I just know the second movie was Predator - Wasnt supposed to be watching it.. but Dad did the "pretend your asleep if your mother looks back there" kinda thing. At least that's the way I remember that.

Ring Of Bright Water - It's about 2 little otters & there is an incredibly sad bit near the end. I think that I was 7 or 8, so it would have been around 1968, 1969.

I remember being in love with The Wizard of Oz and ET when I was very very young. The first movie I actually remember watching was Beauty and the Beast, but it was at home. I remember when Mom brought it home.

As far as cinema... no clue.

Snow white and the 7 dwarfs which was made in 1937 I saw it as a baby in 1939 at the first drivein movie in California. I remember the colors and very little about the actual movie.
that had to have been awesome! Well it would have been if u were old enough to appreciate it back then.

Wow, this is a really tough one. I remember seeing a Bugs Life and Star Wars Episode I, but I was at least ten or so.

Edit: I just remembered seeing The Nutty Professor at a drive in theater. That was probably when I was five or six.

Me too!!! And, what's really fucked up about it, is that my dad's girlfriend took me to see it. Okay, well that's only fucked up if I explain that he and my mom were still married at the time, huh??? LOL

I also remember going to see Christine in the theaters when I was a youngun. Stephen King was my dad's favorite author and I grew up loving his books and movies.
