the good thing that came out of it is that we can compete to a certain degree and both goals were text book finishes.....a low shot to the far post and a powerful header headed down
If there's a few things I learnt last night from the man u match, they are:
Owen and Hernandez are great finishers.

I thought he struggled with the midfield three in the first half, Gibson was far worse though, who ought to be sold. I think he benefits more from playing with a defensive midfielder because he's not that good having to move up and down the field.

Southampton ran the game until man utd could get nani on and release some of wide potential. The three in midfield almost hindered one another, even scholes was wasteful in possession most of the game.

Typical! The one rare occasion where no one in the world is showing the West Ham match so no streams, I listen on 5 live, 1-0 in 3 minutes, so far so good, have to pop out and pick someone up, get home in time for the last 15 minutes, 3-2 to us after 2-1 down and Obinna gets a hat trick! Just ended, phew! Lets hope for a good home draw in the next round in a few minutes. COYI!!!
