I am level 48 myself, I figured I was behind everyone else, guess not. I have Smithing, Enchanting, Blocking, and Heavy Armor at 100. One handed weapons is around 95, and so are a few other skills.

If you want to raise blocking to 100, go find a mammoth, let him attack you, and just block his attacks. I went from 59 to 100 in 30 mins, and never died. I did the same thing for Heavy Armor, but that took a bit longer, and since you're not blocking, you have to heal more. No biggie.

I also disabled all forms of auto save last night, which is a real pisser IMO, sometimes I forget to save, lol.

I have a level 36 something now guy (gave up on my other dude, got boring) with 80 in block, heavy armour, smithing, and 1h. And about 60 in resto and enchanting.

Getting to level 40 takes no time at all, after that it slows down loads though. As a werewolf i never got the resting bonus and i only use the tower stone so no experience bonuses there either, but levelling was never a problem (Sometimes in fact, I think you level too fast, especially if you focus on non combat essential skills)

LMAO. Also, how does one get married?

Go to your precious Riften, go to the temple of Mara, buy an amulet of Mara, then just try and find someone to marry who you have helped.

So far I have found you can marry a few women in whiterun, and the sister of the shop owner in riverwood if you saved their golden claw (which everyone does)

she gives you a few hundred gold a day and home cooked meal.

So more benefit in skyrim than real life.
lmao!!!! my husband said the same....he was watching me play and saw my blacksmith husband make me a home cooked meal and said 'oooh so if i get skyrim'ed married i'd have a wife that brings home money plus cooks me dinner, that better than real life!'

My companion line of quests is bugged now too. They're in a period of extended mourning because I dared to clear out a cave before I should have.

So, I waited for the 30 day reset thing to kick in, it didn't. Then, in an act of passive aggression, I attacked all the companions and killed all the ones who aren't invulnerable. I legged it out into whiterun and started a war against the companions and the guards. After that had settled down, I returned and have started the entire quest line from the beginning again :D

This is fucking ridiculous, anytime that I "wait" my PS3 freezes, and I have to restart it. This is really irritating.

You probably have to restart a new character. That's what I have done, it runs so so so fast, I had completely forgot it used to run like this.

The new patch (released on PSN a few days ago) fixed the bugs, but the engine is still fucked.

ya the freezes fuckin suck.... i was freezing every 15 minutes yesterday so finally gave up after about an hours play. So there has been two patched then? I got the first, not sure if i got the second as my son was playing the game over the weekend, so i'll have to check the data before i begin play today.

I really don't want to have to start a new character. I'd like to complete the game with the one i began with.

These freezes can't be good for our (ps3) systems???

Hey have any of you had dead goats fall out of the sky on you yet? LMAO!!! I thought it was just dragons, but now i have goats. LOL

Oh and when you do the companions quest where on earth does your housecarl bugger off too? Mine said,'you know where to find me.' So i figured ok hes back in Solitudes Inn, in the corner again. I had him holding a bunch of stuff, but now hes completely gone along with my gear. Thats two of these 'helpers', housecarls whatever they are that have just disappeared and what bugs me is we don't even get a warning before it say 'so and so can't follow you on this quest' or ' such and such will replace so and so for this quest.'

What began as a fantastic game to play has turned into an annoying, most terribly bugged game I have ever spent over 60 dollars on and I swear if no patch fixes this i WILL get my money back from them and they can shove their game up their arse.

The pc has its own problems apparently. Don't know about the 360 version.

Your housecarls are at your house for whichever city you are the corresponding thane of. Buy a house if you don't have it and they should be in there.
