Dude, you're over 30 living at home with mom and have over 30,000 posts on an internet forum, you shouldn't start crap you can't finish:24:

You're getting real close to crossing the line. How about you play nice and everyone else will too? Trolls don't last long here. :D

I don't consider myself a troll. If you go through my limited posts on this forum, I'd like to think you wouldn't consider me a troll. I'm sorry, but I do work hard in my chosen profession and my time is limited, so I'll never have an extremely high post count on a "general social forum".

Personally, I find foul language unwarranted on a public internet forum, particularly when there are minors who frequent said site. I raised my concern on that fact, and for the most part, got flack over it.

I have no qualms with getting dirty with the pigs in the mud pen, even if the pigs are popular.

Joe the meek whats your problem?
Please note bold sentence to answer your question.

Then don't come here. Post on a forum where you agree with the rules. But here the only rule is no personal insults and you've already crossed that line.

As far as flack - people disagreed with you. It happens, especially on internet forums. Get over it, or hit the little 'log out' button and have yourself a nice day.

Your kids are a by product of how you raise them. Set your standards low, and hopefully they'll always be met.

:sarcasm
You are so absolutely right.
Us concerned parents should insulate our children from the real world and the jerks that inhabit it until they leave the nest. That way they will have all the skills they need to deal with jerkwad idiots out there.

It's just so good to know that there is at least one person out there who has my child's best interest at heart.
I feel so relieved.

Your welcome:sarcasm

Teach you're kid the proper way to fire an open bolt machine gun and they should do fine.

That reminds me, "The art of war" is a good read, applicable to many things and not just the obvious.

Some here who know me from elsewhere should attest to the fact that I've quoted Sun Tzu many times.

It was required reading on my end many years ago.

Talking with an old friend, "Three Cups of Tea" is now required reading as well (and it's a good book if you haven't already read it).

Then don't come here.

Ultimately after thinking about it, you're right. I just find it a shame that a somewhat decent forum would put up with such language that allows minors to join and post.

I realize it's a "real world" out there, and I'm certain I've been through more adversity and tribulations than some here, but I've learned to try and better my life.

Sorry, but IMO there is no reason to allow obscene language on a "normal" basis on a public social forum.

How sheltered are you, quite honestly, that you feel offended for other people in an issue that isnt even really a concern?
Schoolyards are full of foul language, I learned my first swear words in second grade. Used them in fourth grade, and that was at a private school!
Honestly words are only taboo because people in society have made them that way. Theres no reason to be offended of the word itself, only connotation.
I don't need to swear to make my point, but I think that a 'minor's' exposure to a few swear words isn't our concern, it should be the parent's
