:24::24: Adam West was not the first Batman, as George Reeves was not the first to be superman. If you look on IMDB you can find serials that they used to run in theaters back before TV.

Nobody said that he was the first Batman... dex said that he was the "real" Batman. Pay attention.

I saw some pics of Batman and Bane fighting and was disappointed to say the least. So let down that I didnt bother sharing them here. Bane doesnt even look as big as Batman in the pics. In the books he was HUGE!! I trust Nolan with this stuff but WTF? Are they gonna "Frodo" the scenes and do the forced perspective so Batman looks smaller? Again...wtf?

I'm hoping Bane will be a good villain but I wish Nolan had chosen the Riddler. :\

Tom Hardy has a massive fucking head which is probably why he was chosen. They'll let roids do the rest.

They probably avoided the Riddler because he's too similar a character to the Joker.

The villains have never been the problem in the new Batman films though. Scarecrow, Twoface and the Joker stole all the films.
Instead it was the awful Bale, boring and predictable script (omg, the black criminals didn't blows up da bomb, but the white prison guard wanted to omgs), and the Dark Knight's extreme length (is it over? Can i stand up yet?)
All in my opinion, of course.

I think The Dark Knight's length was actually quite nice. There was enough stuff going on to keep me wholly interested throughout.

I agree about Bale as Batman, and the writing. I like him as Bruce Wayne though. The length is fine, I agree with Parasite. Cillian Murphy was a good Scarecrow.

I feel like Christopher Nolan's Batman films are Batman as he was always meant to be portrayed. As far as I am concerned Bale is Batman.
