I want to marry a teenage, Haitan, Morman, amputee gay for tax reasons but my wife says no.

Any major change in law like that would naturally have grandfather clauses to protect the people. People married under the old laws would be protected under the old laws. But after that, no marriage, no divorce, no bum deal from divorce.

So when a spouse works and supports you so you can get your fancy degree to acquire a superior paying job, and then you dump her for the young secretary, you can really make out on the deal... Oh, you say a contract would cover that...as in something like the marriage contract?
