Have you ever felt like the world has already crashed down upon you? It has for me it seems. In less than one week I lost the woman I love and a sister too. This all right before Thanksgiving. So i ask of you, is it wrong for me to not want to be sociable anymore? All of a sudden people have no influence over me and I have no desire to socialize with anyone, including some of my family. I dont know if its just because im getting older or if im just becoming a hermit. Either way it doesnt matter, too much has happened for me to actually care anymore. It seems like all I have left is my 3 dogs that were left to me and I take care of them like that IS all I have left. They are my life now.

Chris I've been there losing a loved one and family member at the same time. It's a healing process that you're going to have to go through. It could take weeks or months but you will get through this. You don't have to socialize if it doesn't make you feel better. Everyone heals in their own way. But be rest assured that life will get better in time. Time has a way of fixing things and people. You'll be ok... *hugs*

Boethius: It's my belief that history is a wheel. "Inconsistency is my very essence" -says the wheel- "Rise up on my spokes if you like, but don't complain when you are cast back down into the depths. Good times pass away, but then so do the bad. Mutability is our tragedy, but it is also our hope. The worst of times, like the best, are always passing away".
