Have you read it and what did you think, objectively not as a religious book but generally how it was written? I've read it cover to cover. I personally found the method of recording things in it very poor.

I saw it at Borders the other day, and I wondered why it was not in the Christian fiction section. Beats me.

Read it, thought it was well written for Some of it. But most parts are entirely pointless and a waste of space and readers time. And some parts contradict other parts.

I feel the idea of a saviour who got crucified etc. would've been better as a standalone fictional novel. This idea was ruined by a lot of the rest of the bible, and by the people who take such a book as a history book, despite there not being enough evidence to prove that as fact.

I meant to vote "read it, thought it was badly written" but accidentally voted "read it, thought it was well written"

i sorta see it as a long ago version of the "best short stories of the last fifty years"
some authors were better than others.

high marks for its ability to hold an audience, tho :nod:
