The comments in this thread goes a long way towards showing the general callousness in the west towards the destruction of Middle Eastern and Asian countries.

Can we just remind everyone here that the only reason the US and UK forces are there is to control opium production.

A valid excuse for such wanton devastation if there ever was one.

I completely agree that it is a terrible thing to be happening. All I was disputing was the idea that it can be classified as a holocaust.
