my wife told me we had a limit on our texts (we did have unlimited now at 250) and I told everyone and they have complied...

I also get this ... what's the point of you having a phone if you don't answer it... .. I have caller ID for a reason... :ninja

I disagree with cell phones and texts... texting is how I keep in contact with about 90% of people that I communicate with. Generally because one or the both of us are at work, or that it's a question that can be answered without wasting time on a phone call. Even my mom texts these days. :24:

My mom gets a text and I have to walk her through how to look at it.. :surrender

I don't mind getting the texts and calls.. just I might not be able to reply instantly.. ...

My sister taught my mom how to text a while back, but it was a pain for her. Now that she got her iPhone though, she does it all the time. :24: Hell, my grandma started texting after she got her iPhone, and she's 77. :D

Texting is not the problem per say, it is definitely my mode of communication. I just don't like it being used like a damn chat tool like yahoo. I don't want to have entire conversations over text, just quick to the point shit like take a pic of your boobies and when and where are we meeting for a beer. I hate talking on the phone.

I'd rather have conversations by text with people, especially since it's easier than phone calls.

dont diss the ebooks!! my Kindle is a godsend!! ive read more books in the 6 months ive had it than my entire book reading life!! and the preview feature that lets you read x amount of chapters before buying the book so you know if you want to spend the money or not!? awesome! ive yet to use it though cause im pretty confident in the books i DL, but its there if im ever iffy and need it!
