Since we are coming up on that day where we in America stop for a day of Thanksgiving, what are you thankful for? and put your thanksgiving wishes to others in this thread. I will be thankful for the tokenz. ;) Unfortunately in that celebration many of us will get our glutteny on.

I am thankful for my family and my health. I am thankful we did not lose my MIL a few weeks ago. I am thankful that my business has started to pick up again. I am thankful for my friends in real life and those I have made here at OTZ. God Bless You.

Nice thread, Fred. :) I am thankful for wonderful friends and family and the time we spend together. I'm thankful for job security and decent pay for a job that I love doing. I'm thankful for the "click" in my head that finally changed my way of living and eating. And I'm thankful for you guys here (well, for most of you, at least, LOL) and the wonderful friendship bonds that I've formed w/ some of you.

I hope that you all have a safe and happy Thanksgiving filled w/ good company, good food, and good memories. And if you don't have anywhere to go...come to my house. We have plenty to share!!! ;)

I am thankful that I don't have to go to my MIL's this holiday... :jk

Really, though... I'm thankful for my most excellent husband. I'm thankful that we are able to live in Europe, travel, and have exciting adventures. I'm thankful for my family (my little sis just had a baby!) and my friends and everyone else who enriches my life one day at a time.

And I'm really thankful for wine and beer!! :D

I'm thankful that I'm not American and have to make sure the world knows I'm thankful every year by eating a deep fried turkey. :D:jk

One has nothing to do w/ the other...but, for the record, I have NEVER deep fried a turkey.

Actually, I'd love to try deep fried turkey, no one's convinced me that thanksgiving is great though. :D

Guess it's a good thing it's not a big deal over there, then??? *shrugs* It's pretty much my favorite holiday. I just enjoy having the entire family over and spending time w/ them. Nobody rushes off...everybody sits around talking and having a good time. And there's no worrying about presents like you have w/ Christmas.

So second rate rugby rip off? You're loosing me again. :D

LOL...I don't know anything about Rugby, but I believe it's similar. College football is played by people who still play it for the love of the game...not b/c it puts millions of dollars in their pockets. ;)

The one reason I'm enjoying football in the second teir right now with West Ham instead of watching overpaid cunts racially abusing other players and then crying like little girls when they get caught. :thumbup

It is freaking fantastic, and it cooks a lot faster, and is more moist and flavorful than roasted turkey when prepared and cooked right. The problem is it takes gallons of peanut oil that really adds to the cost and clean up time.

The first one we had was done for us by a coworker when we lived in Macon. He injected the bird with spices beforehand, kind of like an internal marinade. It was superb.

I highly recommend it at least once or twice.

I am thankful for the wonderful people who have helped me be able to go school and pursue a better life for my daughter. I am incredibly for my daughter and all the inspiration and motivation she gives me on a daily basis. I am thankful every year I get to continue to celebrate the holidays with my family, especially JJ. While I miss him, I am thankful that my grandfather was finally able to stop living in pain earlier this year. I am thankful for my family, even if they drive me crazy most of the time. :D And I am thankful for all the things I've got. We all sometimes tend to forget how much we have, and I'm truly grateful for the things I do have.
