That is your neighbors BBQ! I am ready also. The docs gave me a workout yesterday and I need a few days before they start again on Monday.:tooth Calling for rain followed by cold and the big spring sale of farm equipment and nursery stock and junk is tomorrow. Might have to dig out some warm clothes again.

They are calling for snow Monday morning. Will be covering the strawberries and herbs we have planted. Sure hope it does not hurt the fruit trees as they are just starting to flower after all the warm weather we just had.
Put my toes in the sand today and treated my mom to lunch at Uncle Bubbas. I've got a little sunburn and, unfortunately, earned myself a speeding ticket as well...but it was a good day. I just finished up some breakfast quiches that I'm about to put in the fridge along w/ a note on the outside letting my mom know that breakfast is already made for her on Mother's Day. But first, 150 crunches. Bah!!! Goodnight, guys!!!

I know, LOL I won't even lie...I've been pulled over probably, uhh, 15 times or more. Most of the times were for speeding. I got pulled over once on my lunch break b/c I took a corner fast and was weaving, apparently, so he thought I was drunk. Got pulled over a few months ago for a tag light out. Got a ticket in Savannah on my birthday a few years back for running a red light (total accident...didn't realize it was red until it was too late) and then got pulled over for speeding after I left court on that ticket, LOL
I'm not fighting this one. I can't deny that I was speeding. He was a jackass, though. LOL

Crap! i have had one warning since 1987. I drive a lot of miles but stay at 5-7 over the limit and never get hassled.
Yeah, I need to learn to slow it down some. I just can't believe I drove over 2600 miles w/o even getting stopped but I drive 150 miles and end up w/ a speeding ticket 10 miles out from my destination. :mad
My last ticket was several years ago by a trooper. He was an asshole about it. Actually surprised I didn't get wreckless driving added. I believe I was doing 78 in an unmanned construction zone on the interstate where the speed dropped to 45 on Sunday morning.

They have been running ads that the seat belt blitz starts next Monday and lasts for 2 weeks. Big fine for it that feeds the town coffers and they will likely run the drive thru checkpoints with the license plate scanners as well. one car with a trooper runs the scanner and 3 others wave you on through or tell you to pull over. I just smile and wave back and go on my way. The other big item they do is set along the interstate with the 4 ways on in an unmarked and if you don't move over you get a ticket unless you are boxed in by other vehicles.
Busy weekend coming up. I've got a graduation to attend tonight (nephew's girlfriend) and then a couple of friends are coming over for a few beers. Then Saturday morning I've got my niece's graduation and then her graduation party that night. Sunday is free, but I need to go check on a co-worker and friend who lost her husband today. And starting Monday I'll be working 7 days straight.

Plans may change with freezing temps we are getting. If the dang wind would die down I would go back to boiling bee frames. Have to have enough hives ready by Tuesday for the bees I will get.
