:homo: Use as little zoom as possible. If you need to zoom, it's almost better to take the picture and then zoom in digitally.100% better....you can see that yourself......now to creep up in that lizard again, and try to get his tail this time![]()

There are 2 different plants in there thats why. The flower is a Petunia but I have no idea what the other plant is..The last pic is my favourite cuz they're purple.Do you know what kind of flower that is? The flowers look like petunias but the plant doesn't.

That's not to say that you should never zoom in on things. It's really a judgement call and there can be a fine line between whether you should zoom in or not. Just keep in mind that the more you zoom the more sensitive your camera will be to vibrations/shaking and the more light you need entering your lens in order to properly expose the photo. Either your aperture will need to be larger (smaller f-stop) or your shutter speed will need to be slower...or maybe a bit of both.Okey dokey. I'm working on it! Thanks zirc!!!![]()
Zirc I'm using a digital camera with 3x optical zoom 5 mega pixels so theres not much adjusting I can do. And I never read the manual and don't have it anymore LOL! I found a site where I can download it but it's huge and I don't want to download it to see what settings I can change on my camera. I think I'm just going to wing it on you alls advice! That's not to say that you should never zoom in on things. Your camera adjusts its settings automatically when you zoom. But now if you zoom in and the picture comes out a bit blurry, you know why. You may not be able to adjust your camera settings but you can adjust how you take your pictures.Zirc I'm using a digital camera with 3x optical zoom 5 mega pixels so theres not much adjusting I can do. I did learn one thing about the zooming and that if you push it too far it goes into digital zoom instead of optical. I learned that by accident. I noticed that the more I zoom the fuzzier the pic comes out. So it's just a matter of taking my time with the picture and zooming in the right amount. Right? Your camera adjusts its settings automatically when you zoom. But now if you zoom in and the picture comes out a bit blurry, you know why. And the better you know your camera the better you'll know what that right amount is. It's not a hard and fast rule. What works with your camera may not work with a different one.I did learn one thing about the zooming and that if you push it too far it goes into digital zoom instead of optical.
