Hood surfing left a warren 13-year old in Arkansas Children's Hospital for weeks this summer. Now that he's recovered he's speaking out, warning others from trying it also.

Hood surfing is exactly what it sounds like. Standing or sitting on the hood of a vehicle while it's moving. No one disagrees the stunt is dangerous, potentially deadly. But that isn't keeping people, many of them under 18, from trying it. Spurred on largely by proliferation on internet video sites, one Warren teenager almost lost his life trying it. Victor Booker, 13, can walk, talk, and throw a football. Three months ago, he couldn't do any of those.

There was a 17 yr old who came to the Er about 6-7 months ago who was doing the same thing but he wasnt so lucky. It killed him from so much head trauma.

I say we should encourage this kind of behavior. For those who are dumb enough to actually try it, should be weeded out of the gene pool one way or another. And what a better way than by accident than me beating them with a lead pipe.
