Teachers having sex with students

My high school band director got busted about a year ago for having a relationship with one of the seniors. She was a freshman my senior year. His wife was the assistant director. They had two kids- one had just been born and had down syndrome. She left him, took the kids, he went to jail for a couple days and was out on bail. He doesn't even have to register as a sex offender. He had the girl in his home, in his bed. She'd stay after at school and they'd have sex. They wrote love letters- that's what busted them. Her dad found them and went ballistic.

He did great things for the program. So much so, that went people went to the administration to tell them they suspected something, all they did was ask if there was anything he was doing that he shouldn't have been doing. He said no, they dropped it. Because they liked what he did for the school... Talk about abuse of power.

I just think it's sick. What in God's name does an adult have in common with a child that could possibly lead them to that kind of relationship? The adult, male or female, has something wrong with their thought process.

I know we all joke about how we wish we could have tapped some of our teachers, but I think in th elong run, it can be damaging to a students pshyche.

And adult shold have more self control than that.

Let me put it this way; yeah, it can be damaging to students, but it can also be fun ) Conclusion? If the guy's above the legal age, I don't really have a problem with it. If he's bellow the age, then the teacher is out of her fuggin mind. As for girls sleeping with male teachers...the same rules should apply, but for some reason that would disturb me a little more. It all depends on the person, and I mean both the teacher and the student, and also on the age; late High School or University is fine.

Typical, i go to the same School for five years, no sex (not that i wanted any with the ages of the female Teachers), this kid gets off with a hot Teacher. No justice.

Play and be prepared to pay. I assume the student was underage. Teachers should not be having sexual relations with their students just to avoid the complications.

It is very interesting the difference in wiring between boys and girls. Although I don't think it is impossible for an underage girls to enjoy an affair with an older man, I think the vast majority of teenage boys would be beside themselves at the chance to jump a hot "older" women with absolutely no mental scaring. This is an opportunity!

Is the double standard when it comes to sex still in full force? In other words boys are wired for sex, but girls must be protected? I've read that teenagers today are very sexually active and look at sex more as a recreational activity. Is that bad? The traditional reasons to dissuade consensual sex between young adults has been unwanted pregnancy, disease, moral issues, and being mentally hurt. Have those issues been mitigated?

Today is there a good reason to save your self for marriage? I'm far past my teenage years, but are there any hetro males in this forum who weren't out looking to get laid in their youth?
