Big Government » Blog Archive » Breitbart to AG Holder: Investigate ACORN or We’ll Release More Tapes Just Before 2010 Election

Breitbart: Oh my goodness there are! Not only are there more tapes, it’s not just ACORN. And this message is to Attorney General Holder: I want you to know that we have more tapes, it’s not just ACORN, and we’re going to hold out until the next election cycle, or else if you want to do a clean investigation, we will give you the rest of what we have, we will comply with you, we will give you the documentation we have from countless ACORN whistleblowers who want to come forward but are fearful of this organization and the retribution that they fear that this is a dangerous organization. So if you get into an investigation, we will give you the tapes; if you don’t give us the tapes, we will revisit these tapes come election time.

I absolutely love it. He basically has their nuts in a vice.

Either they investigate one of their big supporting groups that got them elected, and do it openly and honestly where everybody can see the dirty laundry or he buries them with the dirty laundry come election time.

Even if they investigate and whitewash it all he has them...

Then why the smoke and mirrors game? Why feel the need to threaten with video proof?

Maybe because, as of yet, they haven't done their damn job in investigating these crimes. DoJ should probably be all over this as a RICO case but not a peep in 3 months.

I suspect if he really had anything of substance, it would already be out.

Where have I heard that before? Oh yeah, prior to the last 2 times these guys released damning evidence.

"Oh well, they don't have anything, its inconsequential." Really? Seriously? Child slavery and prostitution is inconsequential?

You honestly think that the ACORN organization condones what these people were doing?

At this point yeah. One of the old graybeard warfighters we have around the office has a saying he uses a lot "Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, three times is enemy activity."

Not much that I have heard. They really did drop the ball on that point. But to their credit, they fired the employees, suspended advising new clients and launched an internal investigation.

Not good enough. The way they reacted when someone presented themselves wanting to break multiple laws on every level by importing children for child slavery is simply inexecusable. They acted as if they knew exactly WTF needed to be done to get things rolling and keep it under wraps. You don't get a reaction like that from people who have never done it and don't know how to do it and people at widely separated locations didn't just come up with the shit on their own.

Hell I know what my first action would be if I were in their shoes, a call to the police, but suprise suprise that didn't happen.

I think if this stuff was made public the gov't could just poo poo it and sweep it under the rug. It might make news for a day or two and give Beck a week's worth of fodder, but it would still be business as usual. If, however, the gov't investigated and published their findings, everyone on all sides would take it far more seriously, as they should.
