Talk about pain!!

All weekend I have been in the worst pain ever in my back when I move, I finally caved and went to urgent care, and apparently I have fluid on my lungs. Anyone else ever had this? Im on an antibiotic now and he said that should take care of it but DAMN! I cant believe how bad it hurts.

I do believe pneumonia is fluid in the lungs, not on them. What she's referring to is a pleural effusion.

Monitor any changes in your breathing. Also be careful that you refrain from performing anything strenous that can aggravate the already medically-challenged functional capacity of your lungs. Do take lots of rest in between activities.

Pleurisy.... lI had it once in my life and it hit me hard and fast. One minute I felt ok and the next not so ok. I was in the bar when it started to hurt and I actually thought someone stabbed me in the back it was so bad. In any event I went to the emerg dept. They gave me some antibiotics after the x-ray and sent me home. I was off work for a few days before I felt good enough to want to leave the house again. It hurt like a bugger especially when I took a breath. I hope you feel better soon. If you were real close I would offer to come and rub some Vicks on ya.
