This is the Zig Zag railway at the Blue Mountains where the Thomas day was held.
Its hazy because I took it through the window...

You can see how the track "zig zags" down the gully...

I know! I'm a horrible traitor!!! I still sing Advance Australia Fair and I waved an Aussie flag on Canada Day...hehe. I moved here because my company went bankrupt and I couldn't find another job. My mother in law invited Soleil and I to move there and I figured that given everything happening to Soleil lately that this was not a bad idea.

I love the Zig Zag railway!!!! Soleil and I rode it last year sometime.

We went to the Railway, Cronulla beach, Miranda Fair (shopping) visiting rellos at Oatley, Como (where I grew up) pleasure gardens on the river and....

St George Leagues club for Yum cha on Friday. OH and the boy are HUGE fans and the staff there treated us like royalty.

Honestly, I thought you put her pic in the avvy because you thought it was funny, but I have this habit of equating the avvy's with the appearance of the poster when it is a pic of a person. So when I saw your real self, the resemblance just jumped into my head.

Isn't that the case when you travel to some place that has weather you don't experience where you live, it doesn't happen when you are there? That happens to me. Darn it!

Please do post more! I don't get bored of looking at places I've never been and possibly may neve go! :nod:

I would love to Sophie. Austrailia has always intrigued me. I knew a family who up and moved there in the 70's. They kept in touch for a little while, then we lost track of them. They were quite happy though with their choice.

Maybe someday, I'll get there.
