So Leland won't know about this until he actually logs onto his computer, and I'm going to keep it that way (partly because he's making me watch American Idol, and that makes me angry), but his birthday present finally came in.

I got him a sweater I think he's going to like. (Leland: it's in your studio, on the shelf over Little Hope, wrapped in tissue paper, underneath that Teddy bear that Connor got you)

I think several people know what I mean by that.

No, okay, let me rephrase that: go ahead, get them. However, I will not pay for them, I will not have anything to do with them, and you know what? I will absolutely not even touch you if you are wearing them! I will stand four feet away. Leland wearing Bapes is like Leland wearing a giant shield of Matt-repellant.

But can you imagine how awesome it'll be once I've worn it really dirty and smoked a lot of cigarettes with it on? It'd be the best sweater ever. All covered in weird patterns and kinda worn out.

It'd be like a sweet sweater from space or something. That survived the crash. And then mysteriously appeared on my body.

That sweater. Not the same one he mentioned, but something I think he'll like better.

It's possibly the most hideous thing ever made.

It's a Japanese "urban streetwear" company. Hideous designs and all that. I'm not shelling out the money for a real one, so he's stuck with "Fapes", but too bad. He preferred that anyway. He said something along the lines of, "Can you imagine how awesome it'll be once it goes through the Asian knockoff machine?!" or something like that.
