"WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Monday ruled against a Kentucky man who was arrested after police burst into his apartment without a search warrant because they smelled marijuana and feared he was trying to get rid of incriminating evidence.

Marijuana is a terrible, horrible, gate way drug. If you smoke marijuana you automatically become a drug addict, and I think a sex offender? Haven't you seen Reefer Madness?

Marijuana is bad for your health (like anyone gives a shit)/dangerous in regards to driving (ok this is legit), but the ignorance of facts and prioritizing in regards to the way it's handled is downright laughable.

...dude eating a big mac while he drives and talks on his cell phone is all but guaranteed to cause as many wrecks as someone high on pot. Give me a break. People go to jail for life for growing/distributing this shit but pedophiles walk free.

The list of hypocrisy goes for days.

That said, I think it's stupid to push for legalization on the basis of its medicinal purpose alone. Suddenly everyone has a crippling disease (we have people in our program who claim they have cramps bad enough to need a pot card)...

Give me a fucking break, just admit people like it and legalize it.

It's not for everyone. I look at trying Marijuana like trying alcohol for the first time. It's not really a crowning achievement in anyones life, and I feel like it doesn't add or take away from anything if you try it or not.
