Super 8 (2011)

Super 8...went to see it this afternoon. The train wreck was EPIC. I'd go see this movie again just for that. The rest of the movie...ummm...disappointing. :eek No really...the plot was crap. And part way through the movie I had a hunch that the "monster" was some sort of mutant alien spider so I was living in fear for awhile there. Thank goodness I was wrong. I hate spiders and probably would have wet myself if I was right. They never did explain about the dogs and the whole thing just came off as being rather cheesy and disjointed. :dunno Considering who produced this movie I was expecting a lot more. :unsure: But the train wreck was epic. :thumbup

I took my beloved to see it. The theater had the volume turned up so loud it was physically painful and took away from the experience. It was a fun romp, regardless of how unrealistic it was for a pickup truck to so that much damage and the driver still live.

The dogs were found all over, miles away. Apparently they just pussed out and ran away. I didn't get why they mentioned it unless it was just for the comedy value, which wasn't much.

Yeah, I know they were found but the movie never explained why they all ran away en masse. It just said that they did. :dunno
