Recap your weekend for me. Score it out of ten.

Mine would be a two. Being at work is no fun.

I'm with ya..top it off with IT issues, no citrix access (99% of my work is done through there) and no phones today...it blows.

I tried watching An Officer and a Gentleman last night but the GD power blew and we were running on a generator till I fell asleep and the tv reception sucked.

Supper was stuffed sole that was overcooked and blah.

So...all things considered..ahhhh...fuck it...it was still a 10, I'm on the right side of the sod. :D

Weekend started on Wednesday. Drove 840 miles round trip to the mountains. We had high points & low points on the trip. We are both tired & sore from walking so much while on the trip. I had a migraine Thursday morning and my wife has had an allergic reaction to something and is dealing with a rash. We saw a car engulfed in flames on the side of the road. Almost home the car in front of us blew a tire and the pieces almost hit us and we almost hit him. Trip part a solid 6 the balance a regretable 3. 5.5 average.

7/10.

I worked yesterday. Today I went fishing in Monterey for salmon with my brother, dad, and a couple friends. It was a good time, but a seal ate my salmon, and a stupid pelican ate my bait, and ended up with my hook in his beak.

I tried to net him in order to pull it out, but he got nasty, so I cut the line, and subsequently, my loses. :p

I don't work weekends so every weekend is a good one ;)

I suppose 8/10. Had some friends over and had a couple of beers. I have a feeling this weekend will be better since I'm going up north to visit the family.

I'd say we had a pretty good weekend.
Friday night I went out and had a few drinks with friends. Saturday I did some homework, then we went and saw Brave at the drive in theater. Today we went to my parents, enjoyed the nice sun, and did some laundry. Now I'm enjoying watching True Blood.
I'd say it's a 10.

5/5 Saturday I had a hangover till afternoon, I'm getting old and my liver doesn't tolerate alcohol like it used to. After that, I watched Spain defeating France and that totally fixed up the day :clap
Sunday...all the day lying on the sofa, we are over 100F here and streets were melting down!!

Friday night - relaxed, read my book a bit.

Saturday - Looked at 2 houses. I think the stress of house hunting, work, etc, got to BF and I because we both got in a big stupid fight... which is never fun :( But later that night we made peace and watched Monster Squad.

Sunday - Woke up early to go for a run. Then went to 7 different open houses within the span of 3 hours, so that was busy, busy! Went home and grabbed a bite to eat & changed, then went to see Totem with friends. Enjoyed the show, was a nice night out.

I'd say it was about a 7... lots of good stuff, but the fight + being super busy put a damper on it.

is there a negative number I can use?

cause there was not one good thing that happened this weekend. Unless you count having a company move most of my stuff to storage for a damn good price. but oh wait... no need for storage since the morons are not buying my house now.

I'll have to go 4/10.

Friday - I was supposed to have dinner out w/ a group of friends (not a large group, only expecting maybe 5 or 6 people). 2 had to cancel. :( Nice dinner, though, and then shot some pool and followed that up w/ ice cream at La Berry (OMG, I am in looooooove w/ Taro ice cream now). Then my beer and wine got stolen out of my fridge while I was sitting inside the house. :mad Oh, and I couldn't get the a-holes working at Wal-mart to help me get my fishing license so I got frustrated and left w/o it. Plus I upset a good friend which really sucked.

Saturday - I got up early and hiked the Indian Mounds w/ a friend and then followed it up w/ a nice lunch at The Rookery. We sat outside under the shade and just enjoyed the weather and the company. It was really nice...until I got home and realized 97 degree weather for a fair-skinned girl isn't smart hiking weather w/o sunblock.

Ouch.

Was supposed to go camping starting Saturday but our camping trip had to be cancelled. :( BUT then I went to the movies w/ my friend, Sherada, and Veronica stopped by on her lunchbreak to see me and totally made me cry w/ her really sweet card that she got me. I relaxed on my hammock by the campfire...too much so b/c I almost fell asleep on the hammock.

Sunday - Dinner out w/ the family to celebrate my birthday. My brother, who isn't talking to me, actually texted me to wish me a Happy Birthday. Best part of the day, by far, was that I finally got to see my niece and hug her for the first time in months. I've missed her. Best...birthday...gift...EVER!!! I also got to see an old friend that I had previously cut ties w/ due to her drug addiction (she's clean now) and I got to meet her 3 y/o daughter. :) And then I had a really good soul-searching type conversation w/ Veronica which was really good for me (thanks again, V). :)

Overall it was a pretty crap weekend w/ some random good parts sprinkled in.
