Stupid Online Textbook Ordering

I ordered two textbooks on the 2nd of December last year. They are supposed to be sent in 5 days. A lady at my university's bookshop told me that there were some in stock online. So I thought maybe they'd come.

Then I emailed them late December and the guy replied that they received one of them, and were waiting for the other one to arrive at the publisher's warehouse by early January.
I expect after early January that it'd be here but it's still not!!

How long can it fucking take to ship out a couple of fucking books, it's been two months already.
I don't know what else to do. A couple of days ago I sent an email to the bookshop and the online ordering guy but still no replies yet :mad

ouch! is there a contact number you can call?

:homo:

I always wonder why people go back and forth with e-mails when a quick phone call will do the job and give you (in most cases) an instant answer.

I always laugh at people who e-mail me accommodation requests...go back and forward asking questions...then, they finally e-mail to say "book it"...and its no longer available.:willy_nilly:

So I rang one of the bookshops (of my home campus) and the lady said they usually don't get their books in for the semester until late January anyway. Maybe mine is bound to come out soon along with theirs. She said it would only take ages if the books weren't in stock, so I guess they weren't in stock.
I'm also just worried cause I had a sneaky feeling it might be delivered to the wrong address. Sometimes our address gets mixed up with the one down the road because as our road goes around this bend it turns into a different street (kinda stupid).

Finally got a reply from the guy to my email I sent ages ago. One of the books was discontinued, so they are replacing it with another one (that I now need as well) so it's all going to work out. It will be here on Monday too :D Finally :willy_nilly:
