Alright, this is just unbelievable. I work at a convenience store, and my boss is... well, I'll give some background. The other day, I asked another employee to cover a shift for me, about 4/5 days before the shift itself (it wasn't important, I just had a "social event" on that day). My boss found out that I had asked the other employee to cover my shift the day before it, and she left me this note (I copied it as closely as I could, and if i get as I call it "unlazy", I'll scan it). The names have been changed to protect the innocent;

My Boss said:
Steve, Alana cannot wak for you toMMorrow She is alReady on oVertimE if your needed The Day off you Should of ask Me before Now call John to she if he will Switch with you. or your waking. you can'T Wait until the day COME'S and you want it off
-Miranda (my boss)

Like, OK, my grammar/spelling/etc is suspect at time, but really? Maybe if her 8 year old niece transcribed the letter for her, I'd get it. Should I ask my boss if she was drunk on said day, or should I just let it go? I'm not gonna bother telling her I asked for the day off several days before the actual shift, because I already worked it...

Lemme know what you think, I have serious problems taking orders from someone this stupid.

P.S.
It's been a while since I've posted here, I like the new look.

Umm, wow. That is pretty ignorant. I'm not really sure what to say about that. I guess it depends on how worried you are about losing your job. If you aren't, I would proceed to make serious fun of her for it. If you are, I would let it go.

hahahaha oh man. Is your boss originally from another country? She has a point in that you probably should have cleared a shift change with her first, but that letter is fucking whack. lol.

If she was from a different country I probably wouldn't make fun of her. She speaks english just fine :dunno. And maybe I shoulda cleared the change with her, but our old boss there didn't really care as long as someone worked it, and you were fair about it. I'll probably take Tegans advice and make fun of her, but I'm not really sure what to make of that.
