Strangers (Where are You, Where am I)

Where are you, I wonder everyday
Eventhough we're both here in body
the love has slipped away

Where are the people, that fell a short time ago
Where are the dreams,
the words that told them so
that let them know
that love was bringing them closer
and the future was theirs

But now there is just loneliness,
an emptiness in the air
Where is the warmth between us
Where is the love that we shared

As we pass one another in the hall
our eyes meet like strangers in the street
Have we both forgotten it all
Have our feelings gone in retreat

It seems so weird, to feel so alone
when you know someone is there
But when the two act like strangers
you wonder why they're there,
do they still care

I wish things were, as they were before
I wish our hearts could feel
I wish for us, so much more
I wish again, we were real

Where are you, where am I
Will we ever join again
I look at the stars, way up in the sky
and wonder, will this empty feeling ever end

Where are you in my life
Where am I in your mind

Very nice Charmer, I enjoyed reading it

"Where are you, where am I
Will we ever join again
I look at the stars, way up in the sky
and wonder, will this empty feeling ever end"

and this is a feeling I know to well.
