I like Steven Tyler and loved Aerosmith pre-Armageddon. Having said that...like most singers when they get up in age, Steven can't hit the notes he used to. You lose the elasticity in your vocal chords as you grow older...it happens. I think Roseanne Barr was worse...but I didn't enjoy his performance at all.

Ya Roseanne was pretty blatantly bad...and bordering on disrespectful.

And too, when you sing like he has all these years (screeching and whatnot) it takes a huge toll on the voice...he's never been a super vocal talent, but was a showman in his day with the band. I would have much rather seen some unknown local person putting something into the anthem than this.

Really though, it was good for a laugh so I ain't mad
