Yanno, I have NO issue with a guy throwing a show at ole Bushy really. I hate that guy.
HOWEVER, we still have troops over there allegedly trying to 'help' Iraqis
And seeing them go gaga over a statue like this makes me say "yanno what, fuck you, we're out"
Even tho I know in my heart of hearts that they don't want us there anyway and we created the majority of the problems they are facing today.
contradicting...I know.

I would probably have a problem with this statue if the guy had been treated reasonably, you know, a slap on the wrist, a fine and a bit of community service. However, the way he's been treated over this is only going to inflame and cause protests like this. Yes, what he did was attempted assualt but in the grand scheme of things it wasn't that bad. Lets face it, if you chucked your shoes at someone in a nightclub, they ducked and no real harm was done, what kind of sentence would you be looking at?

he threw something at the president of the united states. think about what would happen if you threw something at a little ol cop... jail time + assault on a police officer charges.

I seriously dout I would get jail time for it, I only got 11 weeks (5 and a half weeks prison) for punching a cop in the face and giving him a big black eye.
