How about this one?

1284 sq ft
4 Bedrooms
1 1/2 Baths
with a fenced in back yard
List Price: $52,000.00

Says it has a motivated seller, that means they are willing to take a lower offer

7% is high right now. With good credit you should be able to get under 6% if you look around. That's what I'm finding at least

oh well. in 6 months I can refinance.

Anyway... um... that first house looks like it may need a bit of work, but don't all houses? Looks like it'd be a great investment if it's not in the bad part of town.

edit: the 52k house, not the 5890830873098 bajillion dollar one.

James your doing just fine i was at around 8.5% and a few years later went to a 15 year fixed at just under 6% and by sending a little extra every month we had the house paid off in 14 years.;)
