Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace will be released in 3D this year, and the rest of the series will be released in subsequent years.

I'll be sitting the first three out.

Meh. I was 5 when Episode IV came out, and looked forward to the other 2. That was when ol' George could still make a movie. Special effects didn't make the movie, the story did. Special effects are supposed to not really be noticed, that is, not BE the movie. Lucas completely forgot about that in the prequels.

So why would I go now that those lame films, with overdone special effects already, are in THREE-DEE (ooooooh....)? Did he actually pay for someone to rework the PLOT?

Needless to say they will implode in a singularity of suck like they did when first released.

I will not be seeing it in 3D. I really despise 3D films and cannot wait for more people to realise they really are quite shit.
