Spider Crickets... again

I just squished one right in front the front closet. I can only assume it came from in there.

Since I'm so squeamish about them, and nearly every page has pictures of them, can someone pretty pretty pretty please research ways to keep them from coming in?

And please, don't post pictures of them in here.

For those of you who don't do bugs- DO NOT GOOGLE THEM! They will give you nightmares.

I might try to caulk what I can (hard because we're in an apartment) and I'd like to spray, but I'm not sure what with Riley being here. She's about to be alone most of the day when I start working.

You don't think it would hurt her any to eat them, do you? Although, even if it's okay, that's still just so gross to think about.

The damn thing is GONE! I whacked it with the broom, and left it for Matt to get D) and the damn thing is not there!

Let's top the night off with the lightning intense thunderstorm, and the washer leaked... again. Not my night. That's okay... tomorrow will be better. I just joined a knitting group that is meeting up tomorrow evening.

She's my Jack Russell. Good at finding bugs. She found a small daddy-long-legs on our beige carpet while laying on the couch. Ridiculous!

I'm sure she didn't eat the smooshed spider cricket that disappeared though; we've been snuggling.

But it's not there

I don't know if others came and harvested it (apparently they're cannibalistic) or if it was just stunned and is now wandering around. Not sure which option I prefer.

I hate losing bugs in the house...I missed two spiders yesterday and almost had a panic attack lol. Those things...I'd die. Ugh, hope there's a way to prevent them from coming in.
