Yep, I saw what had happened and just shook my head :24:. I guess I'm lucky that the tire held up even after the tread came off, and that it is still running despite all the wiring damage. I had a nice guy pick me up, was about a mile from the nearest exit, it could have been a much worse day by far.

I did that last month. My wheel well was protected. Was protected. I had just slowwed down from 75 to 55 when it happened to me. It was on a sunday, and there is no tire shops open here on sundays.
