Soundtracks

Do any of you listen to soundtracks, be it from movies, tv-shows or video games? I've recently started listening to video game soundtracks, and I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised by how good a lot of soundtracks are.

Also, what are your favorite soundtracks? I have to say that my current favorite soundtrack is from Age Of Empires 2. I played it a lot as a kid, and when I looked it up I still remembered the songs, even though I hadn't played the game in years.

I get into a lot of movie/tv soundtracks, I could go on and on! I really liked Carnivale's music and more recently Game of Thrones. Game of Thrones' music is particularly interesting because of how they blend themes, or change them for different moments. Like if something big happens to Dany, her theme is mixed with the main theme, for example. When it comes to movies, I've listened to a lot too, the new Star Wars movies, Avatar, but also I really liked The Time Machine's soundtrack (the 2002 movie) too. Some songs from Waterworld's soundtrack are awesome too. Around christmas time, I always enjoy the Home Alone soundtrack. OH! Also the soundtrack from the last Olympics opening by Danny Boyle was really awesome, I like soundtracks from Danny Boyle's movies as well. Like I said, I could go on and on...

If when I play or watch a movie I hear a song that I like, I pause the program and search that song on the web. I have a huge collection of songs from games like : GTA, Mafia, Sains Row, NFS or from movies and tv-shows.

I love soundtracks! I listen to a lot of musical soundtracks because I'm also a big musical fan. A couple of my favorites are Wicked and Rocky Horror. I also love listening to the soundtracks from my favorite TV shows - I've recently been listening to the Buffy soundtrack and I also love the songs from the musical episode they did. I enjoy a lot of old school video game music as well.

So yeah, soundtracks are awesome!

Yes some soundtracks are great! The inception one was great, it really was a really important part of the film, because it created a great ambient where you would either feel suspense or get pumped in the action scenes.
Scott Pilgrim Vs The World also had a good soundtrack the original songs were really catchy and I ended up listening to it quite a lot.
