I 100% believe in ghosts as I have seen one and I wasn't dropping any acid at the time either, quite a few of us saw it. I dont believe it's dead people or evil spirits though, just some kind of natural phenomenon which science hasn't yet been able to explain.

I grew up in Savannah which is one of the most haunted cities in the U.S. I have seen and heard things that could only be explained by a supernatural experience. I believe that sometimes people get stuck in between worlds. One can only guestimate why but some believe that they have unfinished business and others believe that they just don't accept that they have passed.

Living in a haunted would be GREAT if they helped with the laundry :)

I am pretty much certain human beings die and cease to exist, like a computer turned off. If our intellectual capabilities could be 'stored' in some ethereal manner, especially a manner not requiring any apparent sustenance, our entire species would have switched over to be permanently spectral due to the obvious survival advantages to being immortal and invulnerable.
People believe in ghosts for the same reason people believed in Zeus. It's a popular superstition.

I b'lieve. Not only have I had experiences, but I did a research paper on Ouija boards back in college. Was great - learned a lot.

One interesting concept was you know how the non-believers say 'it's only your imagination running away with you?' Well the variation was 'you're more susceptible if you're a believer.' I'm down with that. I mean, the Ouija board definitely worked when I messed with it.

Neat stuff.

Bunches of people have claimed to see ghosts. I not heard of anyone who claims to have seen Zeus. However that neither proves or disproves ghosts or Zeus. Saying there are no ghosts is a guess just like saying there is no god or there is a god, a conclusion based on all the factors of your life, your prejudices, and your logic, however much or little there is. :)

I feel that ghosts may exist. I'd really like to see one. There are two types of reported ghosts- interactive and non-interactive. Non-interactive ghosts do not acknowledge your presence and may be some residual energy from the person's spirit or energy if you prefer. Interactive ghosts interact with living people and the environment around them. Possibly they are spirits who did not go to the light for whatever reason and are still existing in the Earthly plain.

Some people feel that Ouija boards are the mouth piece of demonic/satanic forces. What did your research conclude regarding OBs?

Although I want to see a ghost, I really don't want one in my house because I would not like being surprised. I watch both Ghost Hunters and Most Haunted. As always unless you go along with them, you really don't know if it is real or is entertainment, it's undetermined.

I made a lot of references to the above SNL parody and my professor loved it - easy A lol.

Honestly, my conclusion was Ouijas will work if you want them to. If you believe in spirits / demons / Casper, then you're much more susceptible to being contacted by them.

I've had exhausting debates regarding Ouijas on another board so I'm gonna give it a rest here lol. But maybe I'll pipe up more about it down the road. :)

Thats ok. Maybe when you regain your strength. :)

I'm imagining those debates.
"Yes it works!'
"It's satanic!"
"No, it's a hoax!"
"It's just your imagination!"
"Well Bezelbub sent me a private invite to Hell! ;)
