We received an email from a state DTF officer that told us to please tell everyone we know about a new strain of meth. It's called strawberry meth. It's EXTREMELY addictive and has a high OD rate. It originated in the north of the US. Drug dealers have been passing it out to school kids to get them started on drugs early. It looks just like POP ROCKS (the candy). Several have been put in the hospital from side effects and overdoses. PLEASE tell your kids about this, it may save their life!!!!!!!!!!

I also seen this posted up at my work too.

Can they stoop even lower than this? Granted if kids are going to do drugs, I dont think it matters if it looks like pop rocks or not, but still!! Look at who they are targeting? These are impressionable kids who need every day of their life in those formative years. If they fail high school they are screwed for the rest of their life. It's not like losing a job and not being able to get another one. This is your one shot at that age. Such a shame!!
Thanks for the info hun.

While I agree this is disgusting, this is what happens when you have an organization like the DEA and things like a "War on Drugs". Bad men are going to do bad things, and when you push it even further in to the shadows, even worse things are going to happen. I'm not saying meth should be legalized, but the US government and it's enforcement officers are just as much to blame for this crap as the people making it. We spent the 80's going "lalalalalalala drugs are bad, drug users are evil, lalalala" instead of figuring out ways to actually solve the economic and social issues that give rise to heavy drug use. Now, twenty years later, we've basically fostered and created an underworld drug economy that is so lucrative, that it gives people the idea to do this kind of shit. No doubt that low life scum that peddle meth to kids need to be locked up, but maybe as a nation we need to start looking at the policies and factors that have allowed the problem to get this far.

I disagree completely.

People are responsible for their own actions! Older ppl doing that to kids is sick and disgusting.

Alcohol is legal but there are ten times more alcoholics than there should be.

No, it is down to the ppl doing it and pushing it.
