God cannot be bored. He is perfect.

Who's to say he's perfect, and what exactly is perfect. Most Christians believe we live in an imperfect world so why would God make something imperfect? If boredom is imperfect, then why would God create it? I guess if everything you do is perfect then you can do what the hell you want.
The Bible which Christians take as the word of God quite clearly states homosexuality is an abomination, I disagree. Who is right, me or God?:confused Just because someone's more powerful than you dosen't make them right, Hitler was more powerful than me! Very interesting thing to consider.

The bible says he's perfect. If that is the holy, unerring word of god, it cannot be wrong, can it?

You're stating a lot of paradoxes that just point out the absurdities of the god idea, which i agree with.

Well, if god believes homosexuality is wrong, he is infinity more intelligent than you, and since he set up all the rules to the universe, your opinion wouldn't matter.

Thank you! On the other side, I'd like to know where, if there is a God, its proved that he's perfect and it would be interesting to know exactly what perfect is!:confused

If there is a God, who created all things, then he must have made evil dictators throughout history. If he is perfect, then all his creation must be perfect too which means, why the hell are there differences in opinion?

Because odds are god doesn't exist.

But lets say he does for a moment. He WOULD be responsible for creating every evil person in the world, and letting them perpetrate their evil deeds on others. So yeah, god is a prick if he exists.

Very good point, I'd now like to see a staunch Bible persons take on this as I'm sure you would too.:) Especially as they haven't really sounded it and I've (an undecided) been left t fight their corner.;)

1.) You people seriously missed the point of the video. Take the position that there is a God, and then consider what he is saying. If you are unwillingly to do so, then don't respond. It is a theological question.

2.) the first thing that must be done with this sort of qusetion is to define God. Is a God the same as a Creator?

3.) The video's concept ultimately fails because it puts God beside humans, which cannot be done in any theological discusiion egardless of one's defininton of God or Creator, seeing as one who creates form notihng cannot share the same properties of it's creation.

Well, assuming you are talking about the god of the bible, he can do anything.

Well if he can do anything than he can create tools without meaning and never need them but at the same time do.

The idea of an all-powerful being is paradoxical.

It's funny to me to see people's faces when they ask me what I believe happens after we die, and I say 'you go in the ground.' I've had several people freak out on me for saying that. Sorry folks, but personally, I don't need a promise of rewards and happiness to know how to live my life right.
