Here's my kitchen, I tore off the cabinets on the wall there.

See where that black wire goes up? Just above that my vertical 4" cast iron sewer pipe leaks whenever you use the upstairs plumbing at all.

So I ripped off that wall.

And this wall, on the opposite side by the back door.

And the obligatory BDN flip off;

Can't forget the thumbs down, too.

You wanna know how I spent my friday night?

I stopped by Home Depot, Lowe's, Harbor Freight, Menards and a second home depot, while Brian stopped by Sears and D&B sales looking for a rope style chain with carbide cutting tips for cast iron.

Nobody. Carries. It.

This information to go get one comes from my dad, who until after I went around looking for one for 3 hours, tells me that I could have gone 3 blocks from the office and rented one.

*sigh*

But! We're getting moved in... my shit;

Brians shit... we're gonna have a few loud parties... perhaps?

Why don't you just tear down the whole house?!!

I feel for you James. Plumbing in old houses suck. I try to avoid plumbing remoldels in old houses. Working for myself, I can always turn them down and recommend someone else.
Construction remodel is what I love. :D or better yet New construction.

I'm actually working a place now where I'm building a bathroom in a basement, and have to adapt new plumbing to old it looks like I'm going to get lucky, though. This time.

Yesterday we moved in a LOT of stuff, with my back killing me it was hard to do but we were chippin away at it. We moved everything upstairs today and got the downstairs floors ready to be cleaned. I'm going to hold off on sanding them until we're actually moved in.

This weekend I'm going to make people help me move. I don't have a vehicle that will handle my mattress and couch.
