So I wake up this morning. Feeling a little frisky I try get my wife in the mood. About 5 minutes in I open my eyes and I see she's browsing Facebook. So I stop what I'm doing, get back into a comfortable position and start trying to go back to sleep. She's like, don't be mad. I'm like, I'm not. I just think it's rude that I'm trying to give you some attention and you're on Facebook. She puts the phone down and we start cuddling again. Then in the middle she calls my dog up on the bed. My dog is like over 100 pounds. So he disrupts everything. She starts petting him. So I'm like, ok. I get up and head to the shower because apparently this is not what she's wanting. I'm cool with that. I'm not happy that she basically shrugged me off, but whatever. That's married life.
I work today. And on days that I work I like to start it off with a smoothie from a local smoothie shop. It's about 3 miles away. The smoothie is critical. It wakes me up! Puts me in a great mood and I fucking CRUSH IT when I've started my day off with a smoothie! I hop out of the shower and get dressed, mind you I'm on a schedule, so I'm in a rush to get there and back before my shift starts. Guess what? Fucking truck is gone. My wife took my truck and left to go walk my dog in the water way (like 10 miles from here) and to meet a client. She also took the keys to her car. They were in her purse. I'm so freaking mad right now....
She's a therapist and I know she is thoughtful and aware of other people's feelings. But sometimes I feel like she just straight doesn't give a fuck about mine. I'm not going to say I'm the best husband in the world. But I do everything I can to make her happy and give her what she wants and needs. All I ask for is a little bit of respect along the way. She can do whatever she wants, with whatever I own. But it would be nice if she thought about me enough to make sure I had a way to get where need to go. Where I go EVERY work morning. Now I'm at my desk, dragging ass and having an all around shit Saturday.
