Not a bad move considering there are many that think he's " dirty " even though he was found not guilty.
Since it takes a player to be out of baseball for ten years to be considered for " Cooperstown " waiting it out may be a good idea for Roger.
This way he can hope that most people will either forget or overlook the whole steroid thing.
However waiting it out hasn't got Pete Rose into the hall but he has no control over that.
