It would take us a lot longer than 9 months to save up to adopt a child (probably even with governmental programs) but we could go and get a dog right now. Perhaps in their disappointment over not being able to have their own children, they decided a pet would be a better choice for them at this point.

So would a pregnancy, if they could have afforded to have children of their own, they could afford a cheap adoption fee.

insurance covers that and those that don't have insurance still don't pay in full for it.

i had one of those... he used to run away with my socks
