I just been going over to my parents every sunday since I moved in for whatever reason.

Well my mom calls me up out of the blue last weekend and says your washer should be ok to use.

*click* <--- me getting the hint.

So Now I'm using it. It's barely big enough to do one full load. Hooked up my dryer vent today too. Guess what? A week at work without cutting myself and voila! I slip and stab my hand with my screw driver. lol

I had one of the stackable washer/dryer things in my old house in NJ. I could never fit a lot of clothes in there :( And its a bitch when you have to wash a comforter.

Is it like one of those stackable washer and dryer combos James?

Yeah it's an ooooooold one. Washer on the bottom, dryer on the top. It just barely fits in my basement. lol I finally got that damn dryer vent hooked up to it yesterday. Yay for me finally gettin off my ass to do it!

Surprisingly all of my colors (including towels wash rags, shirts, etc) fit into the washer. But if I had to wash my twin size quilt - um... I'll be going to my parents to wash that.

Does the dryer take forever to dry?

If so I know exactly the 'set up' you are talking about.

You have a basement? Cool. We don't have basements out here.

Oh that's not bad then.

I had one in my first apartment. The dryer never seemed to get my clothes dry. In fact I think they would have dried faster if I had hung them out on my balcony! LOL!

I know my old dryer took forever and a day to dry my clothes. Id take them out like 3 times...and they would still be wet.

Some of my socks were still sort of damp when the cycle ended, so i threw the darks in there and started it again. I never checked to see if they dried last night.
