cheap phones = you get what you pay for.

If you were saying 29.95 for a pair of jeans, I'd tell you to shop elsewhere for 10 bucks a pair... but for a cordless phone, $50+ is the way to be. Trust me, I've gone through several 15, 20, 25 and 45 dollar cordlesses at my parents, and I've had several calls at work of "why doesn't this work, the line must be dead". To which I have to say "no, this is on your phone system and you have all your lines ON your system, this thing is a cheap POS... buy something with quality"

I say you get whatever you pay for in any electronics, but this phone I'm only going to use for the nights when I don't have to be on my cell phone maxing out my minutes. I just need a cheap phone that will work because my sister is always on the our normal house phones, and I have my own line.

I can argu with the jeans too. I've bought $10 jeans and $29 jeans. I can defiantly tell there is more quality in the higher price jeans. I've bought jeans from many places. Hollister, AE, Kohls, Walmart.... you name it. I can honestly say I only like the Jeans target makes. Mossimo(sp) They are the only jeans that look the best and last the longest. They range from $25-35. I've also bought walmart jeans that were shitty. Those were around $10-15.

Kohls jeans are usually 10-15 dollar jeans since everything is on sale there, all the time. The ones I'm wearing right now have lasted me over 2 years.

Just wanted to weigh in on what I've seen. Last time I bought a 30 dollar phone it fell apart after 8 months, granted I used it a lot but 8 months?
