Snow in the middle of May!

We are to get snow Sunday night into Monday morning. Monday night temps in the mid 20's. Going to have to fire up the wood boiler tomorrow and cover the strawberries and herbs. Will put a hurt on the lilacs and fruit trees. Lots of stuff just popped out this week after the nice warm spell we had. All the stuff setting out to harden off for transplant needs moved back in the greenhouses.

We just had sleet bouncing an hour ago. Now it is bright sunshine and up to 40. Next 2 nights are going to be cold and it is to stay windy. When I added wood a while ago I needed my winter coat with the wind. Wont make that mistake tonight.

I remember getting snow a snow storm in May in upstate NY. Miss the state for what it had to offer for the "outdoors", but don't miss it's politics (via Albany AKA NYC) and weather.
