Snow and ice on the way!

We just got a NWS warning for 5-8" of snow with a coating of freezing rain on top of it. 1/4" of ice means the chains go back on the truck in the morning and the wood i just dumped in front of the boiler will get pushed in under the woodshed.

We got about 4" and a bunch of freezing rain so far. Damn stuff had a layer of sleet and ice under it. Will see how it plows here and may need the chains.

Forecast has been changing all day.
Had some gritty sleet earlier.
Looks like it's not going to be as bad as they predicted.
