I've picked this up lately =/ Does anyone have some tips to stop? I've been looking at those mouthpieces online. Any idea if they work?

I think the pharmacy may have these things you put over your nose that might help? They are some kind of strip.

Did she get her mouth-guard from the dentist's office or did she buy one at the store??? I ask b/c my dentist says I need one and I'm not about to shell out the $400 for a custom-fitted one.

Tell me about it!!! And they specifically said my insurance won't cover it. I clench my jaws when I sleep and it causes micro-fractures in my teeth...then bacteria gets in and I get a cavity, so I've got tons of work on my teeth just so they look pretty. Seriously, there's no less than $10K - $15K worth of work in my mouth, easy.

the inadequate pricing for dentists care through payroll deductions is insane, especially the prices they charge, you should be able to buy higher coverage...the lack of increasing the allowance spent there is just insane...

That makes the 400 sound cheap :p That really sucks though. I can't imagine doing that. I'm not a fan at all of the dentist.

I actually don't mind the dentist at all. Even the shots in the roof of your mouth that people always talk about hurting so bad, they don't bother me. *shrugs*

Anyway...sorry to hijack your thread, LOL Do you have a cold??? Sometimes I snore louder when I have a cold.

Those shots SUCK. You're lucky there.

It's cool lol. I don't mind =]. I don't think I have a cold. My nose has been a bit stuffy the past few nights- hence the nasal strips.

I bet once your stuffy nose goes away you'll notice a reduction in the snoring as well. ;)

I hope so. Boyfriend has been bitching off and on for a month now.

Tell him if he doesn't like it, he can sleep on the couch. :p

My boyfriend used to snore, the nasal strips didn't help. He actually started taking an allergy pill right before bed and that seems to have helped. Either that, or I've just gotten used to it. :dunno
