My grandmother read smut novels. I so call her out on it too when she is talking about "this book" she read or is reading.

One day she started a new one and she said one of the characters reminded her of me, and I told her not to think that! I knew what was going to happen to the character in like ten more pages...and she said "It's not like that! She's the nanny!"....:24:

Yeah because nannies never get screwed in those books.


Anyways people - do you read smut? And if so what's your fave? I could use some good smut this holiday season now that school is out.

I read raunchy romance novels filled with shexy romps and happy endings.... Many different authors. None come to mind though to recommend.

I like erotic literature. I tend to bypass the romantic stuff though, and don't read it on a regular basis either.

My mom pretty much only reads smut books. We always pick on her for it. Last time I was home I picked one up and flipped to a random page and started reading it to her and my dad. I had to stop within two sentences because it wasn't daddy/daughter appropriate.

They're too predictable and rather boring to read at some moments but when I was a teenager I read a bunch of them... they don't excite me anymore though.

Smut is like Romance novels with sex in them...not always pornographic, but usually...

and i would love to see the author respond to that question since she tried to be all conservative about it in her books.

A Smut Mini Novel for Janie.....

Ahem.....


The moon shone through the window illuminating the loving couple standing clueless in an embrace that blocked out the world. All the world that is except Henry.

Henry blended into the Pine tree quite easily all dressed in black purposely chosen so nothing reflected his position. He practiced diligently a stature none could compete with. Not moving for hours on end if need be. He lifted the binoculars and studied the forms performing in front of his eyes with his heart pounding and his breathing controlled to remain quiet.

Who would hear him anyway? The nearest house was a quarter of a mile away. Not only did he choose this house for its location and ease of access; the bonus was the beautiful Lucinda whom he now watched as her gown was removed by the amorous Bruce.

Fine form, he thought. Exactly as I would have done. He could almost hear the gown hit the tiled floor.

A breeze whispered through the sheers and gently touched Lucinda's now naked body with a slight chill that caused her skin to break into goosebumps.
