Smoky Mountains!!

Went hiking yesterday in the Smoky Mountains! It was awesome... seriously one of the best days of my life! Everything was breathtaking.. we are going again on Wed when all the vacationers leave. So I am sharing some pics... enjoy!

the smokies are beautiful!!! Did you see any bears? I remember going up to Gatlinburg as a kid and it was sooo pretty...It's definitely a place I plan on taking my kids one day!

Thanks for the comments. Yeah it is a beautiful place. No, we didnt see any bears... but we were expecting to! Some people I have talked to said they have seen some bears, but noone has ever gotten hurt by the bears here. They said if you dont have food and if you dont provoke them, they wont bother you. We were planning on bringing some lunch next time we go, because by time we got halfway thru the hike we are all tired and hungry. But Im kinda scared to think that the bears might smell the food!! We are going to put it in ziplock bags. But Im not sure that will do the trick! Anyway, my kids loved it... even tho my 5 year old is the laziest person I have ever met in my life...he didnt complain once! haha.. we saw some crazy bugs!

Hopefully if we decide next time to have lunch, we wont get eaten by some bears.
