Smells that remind you of home

Ok christmas is coming and it makes me think of chilhood memories. I love to smell cookies baking in the oven. Anyone else have a smell that brings back fond memories for them to?

when ever i smell moth balls it makes me remind me of my grandmothers house she had when i was a kid

shes in a home now not doing too good with alzteimers. just turned 91 today too.

I always smelled candles and other scents growing up. My mothers hobby was crafts like that. My friends loved coming over and smelling all of the new fragrances.

ridiculously floral scented potpourri...omg my dad used to use potpourri in EVERYTHING. any kind of decorative container he could find he'd put that shit inside. And it wasn't no passion fruit flavor either...it waas always something weiiird like honeysuckle and jasmine and peach, all mixed together.
