It's hard to tell in the pic, but it's 2 nautical stars, pink and blue alternating within each piece of the star (and actually if you see it in better light you can tell it is shaded from light pink to dark... etc in each piece. Then the tail is made up of small 5 pointed stars, alternating in pink and blue.

I got that because the first time I saw a shooting star was the night my dad almost died in a car accident. I saw the star when I was staring up at the stars, asking god to bring my daddy home. I was 11. So, I thought I'd get something with meaning that would always remind me of that point that changed my life forever.

Sometimes I forget that it's there, since it's hidden. But I LOVE that tat.

Well that was very sweet of you. They looks good to, I like how it's perfectly symetrical (same on both sides) but I bet it hurt like hell.

Yeah, it definitely hurt like all hell. It took 2 hours for the first side (since he did all the shading and that freehand) and I think another hour for the other side after we took a break. I didn't cry, but I was breathing like I was having a kid. haha.

The guy put the outline down and said "Go look in the mirror and make sure... uh, the middle is, in the middle." :lol

That's just beyond awesome Rach. Very nice story to go along with it, all that happened when you were 11 though? When did you have the tattoos done?

and how much were they? if you don't mind my asking.

slo's hot, but I don't have a crush on her. There's two chica's at work I save my drooling for.
So mid section is one word, good to know.
