Microsoft SQL is more vulnerable than MySqli and other versions of SQL

It is not about what IS or IS NOT vulnerable, although that is a discussion for another time, rather than the

message behind these "Website Attacks" in a sense.

I really don't see what the big deal about that is, you have to be pretty foolish to click on that link and download the software.

I'm not saying I condone the attacks, but I don't think they're really as big of a deal as the article makes it sound.

Exactly. It is not a big deal whatsoever unless you have something to hide overall. It does more than just give you a virus though. I just do not understand the interest in that the media has on it overall. This is not the first time this has been done and it shall not be the last. Unless certain things can be done to entertain the thought of certain individuals to stop their actions. Otherwise...

Anyone who's spent a substantial amount of time on the internet knows it's a dangerous place, or should know anyways, never trust strange links that offer virus protection.

True, but you will get some people who would think this a genuine software

I do feel for those people, who are probably somewhat new to the internet, at least they'll learn a valuable lesson from it though, one I had to learn when I was a kid and was clicking on anything and everything lol

I remember when viruses used to be in porn, and they'd give you more porn whether you liked it or not.

Nowadays, the viruses pretend to be antivirus software... What a sad state of affairs... :D

99% of the time the porn they gave you after... was not something you ever wanted to see.

Sadly, I've seen articles like this many ... many... many times. Truth is, scare articles like this never zero in on the real issues, the always lend themselves instead to fueling holy war arguments (MS vs Linux, T-SQL vs PL-SQL). Honestly if this article shows us anything, it's that many, many people need to relook at themselves, and accept more responsibility for their actions, (clicking on any link represents a risk no matter how secure and legit the company). And I would say (as a programmer) far more important is to take the time to write tighter code. SQL Injection? Can happen on any database platform, if the programmer writing their application over it is sloppy and honestly not taking the time to protect themselves.

Nothing worth being scared of unless you have something to hide overall.

Being non- knowledgeable when it come to tech stuffs....IDK :dunno what implicatons it has. Just a question out of curiosity. Nothing to hide they can search me :24: :24: But respect for privacy matters BIG time to me :ninja

I think most servers use linux based server operating system (quite different from ordinary OS), so I wouldn't be overall worried

Thanks mucho :) Just out of curiosity that I had to ask. I dislike the idea of going through the process maybe of having computer repaired or whatever else implication it has overall......But all is cool then :D:thumbup
