Simple question

Too bad, sorry about your dad, well I am trying to get a spot in Denmark, Aarhus University to study. Its my last year in high school, a couple of moths left and I will see where life takes me. Although life has taken me to the best places before. I've been to Russia, Poland, Latvia, Checkoslovakia, Austria (Birth place of Arnold Schvartsneger), Croatia, Italy (Venice was unbelievable). All these trips were amazing! Thanks to my father ;) He has seen the whole world, has sailed all the seas, seen many great poart citys, I wish I could see half as much as he has.

I'd love to see all those places, particularly Croatia and Italy.

well i wont mention where it is already been said not sure what to say now but
the capital Vilnius is beautiful city from what i seen from the photos
a little too cold for me for the winters to live there but looks like a nice place :)

Today it was minu 21 ;D felt great even for norther people like us ;D you should visit during the summer, last one was so hot, I guess too hot for northern people ;D Vilnius old town is amazing ;) specialy Gediminas castle, or whats left of it ;D

My geography is incredibly poor. I'm not even 100% where I am, let alone anyone else.

thGood-Post1.gif I had a good laugh as I am like this too. When I lived in Chicago b4, it took time for me to know where East is from West especially when driving and getting lost b4 GPS came about :24:

As with Lithuania- I've heard about it BUT don't even have a clue or anything about it's location or culture for that matter. From guessing, i can maybe say part of Russia or near it just maybe by the sound of the word :eek

Croatias oceans are amazing, I live in Klaipeda, a city near the ocean, Lithuanias only port city, we go for a swim during the summer, but the waters hear are black... while Croatia and its ocean was simply amazing, clear blue, unforgetible!

Well it is near Russia, and although during the war Russia ruled Lithuania, in 1992 my country gained its freedom, but we still get confused for being a part of Russia, when we are not ;D However many russians still live here, heck, my father is russian ;D I am half russian ;D

About what temperature is your summer there when it gets too hot?

What is Gedimas castle? NO googling allowed based from OP, right? :p

Well the last two summers were up to 43 degrees celcius and they say this one is gonna be even hotter ;D woohoo... I barely survived the last two ;D Well in the middle ages there was a king Gediminas, who expanded Lithuanias lands to the Black sea and who in his dream saw a city, which he built and named Vilnius, there he also built a huge castle from where he ruled his lands, only a tower now remains, but we still call it a calste ^^ and it is the symbol of Vilnius.

Ohhh....Croatians which reminded me of Toni Kukoč- a basketball player of Chicago Bulls with Michael Jordan. I have that crush on Toni bloosgirlsmiley.gif

OOpppppsss.....Going back to topic- the waters are black- you mean dirty? or just in relation to Black Sea? Sorry i dont have a clue :willy_nilly:

;D well it is a bit dirty ;D there were a couple of oil spils, but I generaly meant that in comparison to Crotias clear blue oceans, our water is much darker, I may have over did it with black waters ;D I can see why Toni has your heart ;D he is a stud ^^ ;D

Ohh...that's quite HOT eh about 110 degrees F. MY town gets to be about 90's-100's too during summer
( though not humid) but I've not experienced above 105. I think, It would feel like I'm being deep fried... maybe :p :24:

Gotcha on Gediminas castle. Am always fascinated with castles

Thanks for that clarification. I just had also been amazed and wanted to visit Black Sea someday in relation to the expedition for the search of Noah's Ark......so i thought it was like that......:)

Well, given that Michael Jordan is good looking himself- Of course Toni looks the best :D:thumbup (imo)

All I know about it is its an Eastern block country, the current worlds strongest man champion is from there, there are plenty of them living round my way mainly working as builders or prostitutes, depending on their sex and they tried to win the Eurovision song contest a few years ago by entering a song called "We are the winners (of Eurovision)" which made them look a bit stupid when they came 6th.
